I taught several classes at a social service agency that assists children and youth. The boys derived great satisfaction from drawing self portraits they did not think they could do.

We worked with girl scouts on pottery at ODU.

Saturday Morning Art Class is a team teaching experience sponsored by Old Dominion University. Children from public schools in the region are invited to participate in free classes taught by graduating art education students. Our lesson on assemblage sculpture using found objects and power tools was a success. Students were asked to invent a fantasy machine to solve a problem in their lives or in the world.
